An unexpected treasure in Motueka

We had an amazing time at Avalon Manor! The spacious rooms were impeccably clean, adorned with every amenity we could want after a day of adventure. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their detailed recommendations led us to the best local spots, enhancing our experience. Plus, the lovely balcony was perfect for unwinding with a sunset view over the mountains.

While the room was fantastic, the minor drawback was the limited outdoor space, as the balcony felt a bit exposed to the parking area. This slightly detracted from the privacy during our evening relaxation. However, it hardly impacted our overall enjoyment!

The owner welcomed us even for a late check-in at 9 PM, which was a lovely touch that made us feel valued.

The coffee plunger was only suitable for one person, which was quite inconvenient for two travelers.

The spacious one-bedroom apartment featured high-quality self-catering facilities that made my stay pleasant. I enjoyed the lovely views of the mountains while relaxing on the balcony, an asset after a long day. The cleanliness of the unit was impeccable, reflecting the owners' attention to detail. The location provided easy access to hiking trails and local attractions which added great value to my visit.

However, I found the coffee plunger a bit small for two people.

The larger room blew me away with its cleanliness and comfort. Amenities were spot on, making the stay feel like home. Parking was easy, and the view of the hills from upstairs added a nice touch. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, which made a real difference. However, the ground floor room's outdoor area felt exposed to the parking lot, affecting privacy. An upstairs room might be better. Also, the busy road outside made the balcony less relaxing than hoped.

The stay at Avalon Manor Motel was exceptional. The unit was clean and spacious, featuring a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable king bed. I particularly appreciated the impressive amenities, such as easy access to laundry facilities and a lovely gazebo with a BBQ. The location was advantageous, being in close proximity to restaurants and shops while set back from the road for relaxing evenings on the balcony.

The room faced a busy road, which affected the peacefulness of the balcony.

I had a lovely stay in a large twin studio! The room was well set out, spacious, and cleaned daily. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen area was perfect for our needs. Plus, the hosts were really friendly and helpful. 🛏️

Our stay was exceptional! The unit was spacious and well equipped for self-catering, featuring a good-sized kitchen that made cooking simple. We loved having a gorgeous balcony with views of the kiwi orchard, perfect for unwinding with a drink. The location made it easy to access restaurants and shops, making our hiking trips more enjoyable. One small thing to note is the coffee-plunger provided could have been a bit larger for more than one cup at a time.

The large two-bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of seven. The spacious rooms allowed us to unwind after our adventures. We enjoyed exploring nearby Abel Tasman and were thrilled with the mountain views from our private outdoor area. The kitchenette was well-equipped for family meals.

My kids wished for better bathroom amenities.
